By joining forces, we can grow faster and build even more smart features together — so you’ll soon have even less to worry about when it comes to payroll. Our mission remains the same: to make payroll as simple as possible.
For our customers, nothing changes: Employes will continue to work exactly as you're used to, with the same trusted team and the same service — and soon, a fresh new look.
We're incredibly excited to grow alongside Ageras and support even more businesses with their payroll needs.
Rob Kroezen, founder of Employes, on this step:
"I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved with Employes: a truly innovative solution in a traditional market. It’s amazing how many companies have started using Employes over the past few years. I’m deeply grateful for the trust all these businesses have placed in us.
We see plenty of room for further innovation and will continue to improve everything around payroll in the years to come. By joining Ageras, we can make the most of every opportunity and achieve even greater growth — all with one goal: making payroll as simple as possible."
The acquisition of Employes is Ageras’ most significant step since acquiring the French banking app Shine. It follows the success of the Danish payroll solution Salary, which has grown nearly fivefold since 2021.
Martin Hegelund, co-founder of Ageras, on the acquisition of Employes:
"Our mission is to help entrepreneurs simplify their administration. The Dutch market fits perfectly with that mission: it has an exceptionally strong SME population with a growing demand for integrated solutions that simply work.
Employes is a fantastic company, built by a strong team that shares our vision. With their technology and customer-first approach, they strengthen both our platform and our presence in the Netherlands."

Q&A
Will anything change at Employes?
For now, nothing will change! Our shared mission remains: helping you manage payroll in a simple and effective way.
This step gives us more strength to further improve and expand our product and service. We're still the same Employes team you know and trust, and we're excited to take advantage of all the new opportunities. Our focus stays the same — making payroll simple.
Will you change your pricing or packages?
No, our current pricing and package structure will stay the same. We will introduce new packages soon, but this is unrelated to the acquisition. These new packages will be available for new customers, and as an existing customer, you’ll keep your current package and pricing.
Do I need to do anything as a customer?
No action is needed — you can continue using Employes as you always have.
